Designed as a more cost-effective alternative to the Partner Robust, the Partner Utility Recorder retains most of its predecessor’s core functions while offering a smaller, lighter design. To maximize battery life and reduce production costs, the Physical Shock Detector has been omitted from this model. Despite this adjustment, the recorder remains a powerful tool for security operations, built from stainless steel, aluminum, and polycarbonate for long-lasting durability.

LED Notifications
At the base of the recorder, an LED notification light provides real-time status updates. Emitting a blue glow in varying patterns, the light signals key operational states such as a successful patrol point scan, the need for data downloads, and other alerts. This intuitive feature enhances usability and ensures smooth operation in the field.

The Partner Professional Utility Bundle includes twenty Partner Patrol Points, each containing a microchip that emits a unique identification code. When a security officer taps the recorder against a patrol point, the device logs the ID, marking a checkpoint along the patrol route.
